Police Search for Man Linked to Sexual Assault in Industry
Authorities in Los Angeles County are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a man suspected of a sexual assault reported earlier this month in the city of Industry.
The incident took place on December 10 in the morning hours at the intersection of Azusa Avenue and Colima Road. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, details surrounding the alleged assault remain limited as the investigation continues.
The suspect is described as a transient white male in his 30s, with black hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and gray sweatpants and is believed to have been in the Covina and La Puente areas. Investigators revealed that he was last spotted riding a Foothill Transit bus in those communities, leading them to release a surveillance image in hopes of identifying him.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department-Special Victims Bureau manages cases involving the sexual and physical abuse of children as well as felonious sexual assaults against adult victims.
