LOS ANGELES COUNTY, Calif. – A suspect led police on a brief car chase that culminated in a SWAT standoff in Beverly Hills on Sunday, May 3.
SkyFOX captured live footage of the incident, which began when a Beverly Hills police officer attempted to pull over the driver of a gray pickup truck. When the suspect refused to stop, a short chase ensued.
The standoff began around 2:45 p.m. PT when the suspect finally pulled over, but as of 4:30 p.m., no arrests had been made.
Beverly Hills Police have indicated that the suspect was wanted on felony charges related to a case in Los Angeles County. The department has since urged the public to avoid the area to ensure safety and facilitate the ongoing operation.
