Police Chase Concludes with Collision in San Gabriel Valley

Authorities in the San Gabriel Valley were involved in a vehicle pursuit Wednesday morning that ended in a dramatic crash at the site of a previous accident.

Deputies from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department were chasing a DUI suspect driving a vehicle with two occupants. The chase culminated in a collision with an existing accident scene and a nearby building.

The incident occurred on the 1000 block of San Gabriel Boulevard in San Gabriel. Aerial footage from NewsChopper4 revealed an SUV perched atop a fence, while another vehicle, displaying significant rear-end damage, was situated on the sidewalk adjacent to a restaurant.

Emergency medical services transported at least one individual from the scene. It remains unclear whether the driver involved in the chase has been taken into custody.
