Paul Mescal Celebrates Hamnet’s Success at the 2026 Golden Globes with Girlfriend Gracie Abrams by His Side

Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams were recently spotted together in Los Angeles after the Golden Globe Awards held on January 11, 2026. The couple, who have been dating since the summer of 2024, made their relationship public on social media in July 2025.
Mescal, 29, known for his role in Hamnet, was nominated for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role at the Golden Globes. His film Hamnet won Best Motion Picture (Drama), while co-star Jessie Buckley earned the award for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Drama.
The couple arrived at the Chateau Marmont afterparty hand in hand, enjoying a moment of celebration following the awards ceremony.
In the Supporting Actor category, Mescal was up against notable names including Stellan Skarsgård (Sentimental Value), Benicio Del Toro (One Battle After Another), Jacob Elordi (Frankenstein), Sean Penn (One Battle After Another), and Adam Sandler (Jay Kelly), with Skarsgård taking home the award.

Despite his rising fame, Mescal has maintained a level of privacy concerning his personal life. In a past interview, he expressed uncertainty about what prompted him and Abrams to disclose their relationship publicly, emphasizing that it is something he wants to protect.
"I actually do have an answer, but everything to do with that is deeply precious to me and I don’t want to… This isn’t … I don’t really … umm … I want to protect those things fundamentally," he shared during a profile in Rolling Stone.

Mescal and Abrams were first linked publicly when they were seen dining together in London in June 2024. Their relationship seemed to gain traction in August before sources confirmed they were "hooking up." By November, reports suggested that the pair were serious after Abrams attended the Los Angeles premiere of Gladiator II.
The relationship became Instagram official in July 2025, when Abrams shared a cozy photo of them together at Glastonbury, the renowned summer music festival in England.
