Pamela Anderson Reflects on Encounter with Seth Rogen at Golden Globes
In a recent interview, actress Pamela Anderson opened up about her emotions upon seeing Seth Rogen, producer of the Hulu series Pam & Tommy, at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards. Anderson described her reaction as complicated, particularly given the series’ portrayal of what she termed the "worst time" in her life.
Anderson, 58, shared her thoughts during an appearance on Andy Cohen’s SiriusXM show, explaining that the production of Pam & Tommy proceeded without her consent, which she found quite upsetting. "Seth Rogen, he did that [series] without talking to me… I just felt like, ‘Eh.’ How can someone make a TV series out of the difficult times in your life?" she said.
The series, which fictionalizes aspects of Anderson’s life, including her tumultuous relationship with ex-husband Tommy Lee and the infamous scandal regarding a stolen homemade sex tape, has stirred strong feelings for the actress.
After presenting the award for Best Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy to Rose Byrne at the ceremony, Anderson admitted that she felt overwhelmed and eventually decided to leave the event early. "I went right to bed," she recalled.
When asked about the brief encounter with Rogen during the awards, she remarked that while they were relatively close in proximity, she felt "weird" being near him after the series’ release. "I may have just felt like, ’I’m not chopped liver over here,’" she expressed, highlighting her professional commitments over the past year, during which she completed five movies.
Anderson also conveyed a mix of hope and skepticism about potentially receiving an apology from Rogen. "I don’t know. It just felt like a little yucky… but eventually, hopefully he will, maybe he’ll reach out to me and apologize," she said.
She voiced a deeper concern about the boundaries surrounding public figures, stating, "When you are a public person they say you have no right to privacy. But your darkest, deepest secrets… shouldn’t be fair game for [a] TV series."
Reflecting on her past, Anderson pointed out that the series touched on deeply personal and painful moments in her life, adding to her discomfort. "It just p—ed me off a little bit," she concluded, reinforcing her belief that such portrayals may cross ethical lines.
The full interview with Anderson is set to air on January 20 at 10:00 AM ET.
