Pamela Anderson Makes a Surprising Change by Going Dark with Her Hair
Pamela Anderson Unveils Bold Hair Transformation in New Photoshoot
In a striking shift from her iconic blonde look, Pamela Anderson has debuted a vibrant new look featuring big, bouncy red curls. This transformation marks a significant change for the actress, best known for her role in Baywatch, and showcases her versatility and evolving style.
The photoshoot, conducted exclusively for People, features Anderson with her hair styled in a retro curled pixie. She previously transitioned to auburn as part of her preparation for her upcoming role in Michael Cera’s directorial debut, Love Is Not the Answer.
“I sometimes catch myself in the mirror and go, ‘Oh jeez. Who’s that?’” Anderson remarked in her interview with People, acknowledging the surprise of her new appearance. Her mother, too, expressed that it would take some getting used to.
Anderson first revealed her auburn hair at a Paris Fashion Week event in September. Since then, she has played with various haircuts, including an ’80s-style mullet and a ’70s shag. Anderson’s hairstylist, John Nollet, drew inspiration from film icons such as Isabelle Huppert and Liv Ullmann for her latest look.
Reflecting on her hair transformations, Anderson stated, “Your hair is another way to express yourself, and I’ve never been shy. I do like to cut it and style it differently. It’s freeing." She has embraced numerous styles throughout her career, from voluminous updos in the Baywatch era to more contemporary bob cuts.
Looking ahead, Anderson will sport gray hair in the upcoming film Rosebush Pruning, alongside Elle Fanning and Callum Turner. “Let’s just hope this is just the beginning,” she shared about her evolving career, expressing newfound inspiration and a zest for life.
