Paapa Essiedu Jokes with ‘Harry Potter’ Co-Star Nick Frost During BAFTA TV Award Presentation
Two stars from the upcoming HBO series Harry Potter made an appearance at the BAFTA TV Awards on Thursday. Paapa Essiedu, who portrays Severus Snape, and Nick Frost, playing Rubeus Hagrid, presented the award for Supporting Actress to Christine Tremarco, known for her role in Adolescence.
During their presentation, Essiedu playfully referred to Frost as “Hagrid” throughout the introduction. “Some truly exceptional performances, let’s take a look at the nominees, Hagrid,” he quipped, turning to his co-star.
Frost responded with humor, saying, “My name is Nick; I sat next to you at the friggin’ readthrough.”
