One Person Killed and Six Injured in San Fernando Valley Freeway Accident
Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision in Shadow Hills Under Investigation
The Los Angeles City Fire Department responded to a tragic multi-vehicle accident in the Shadow Hills area on Sunday evening, resulting in one fatality and several injuries.
Emergency services received the call just before 8 p.m. regarding a collision on the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway at Sunland Boulevard.
Authorities reported a total of seven individuals involved in the incident. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others were transported to a nearby hospital in serious condition. Additionally, two patients sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and one individual declined medical transport.
Details surrounding the victims and the circumstances leading to the fatality remain unclear, including whether the deceased was the individual found entrapped in one of the vehicles. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to gather more information.
