In a significant shift in the Big VIII League baseball standings, Norco has emerged as the new frontrunner after years of domination by Corona. On Monday, Corona Centennial delivered a surprising upset against Corona, winning the game 5-2. Sophomore pitcher Christian De La O threw a complete game, striking out 10 batters, while Michael Nonis contributed with three hits.
In another notable match, Norco claimed a decisive 10-3 victory over Eastvale Roosevelt. Landon Hovermale improved to 7-0, allowing just one hit and one run over five innings.
