Noah Wyle to Receive Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
LOS ANGELES – On Thursday, acclaimed actor Noah Wyle will be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The ceremony is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. at 6164 Hollywood Blvd.
Wyle is currently starring in the drama "The Pitt," but he is best known for his iconic role as Dr. John Carter on the long-running medical series "ER," where he captivated audiences for nearly 15 years. Throughout his tenure on "ER," Wyle earned five Emmy nominations and three Golden Globe nominations, underscoring his significant impact on the television landscape.
In addition to his work in "The Pitt," Wyle has appeared in the action crime drama "Leverage: Redemption," and featured in films such as "A Few Good Men" and "Donnie Darko." His extensive career also includes roles as a writer and director. Notably, he made history by becoming the first actor to win all five major television awards—including an Emmy, Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild Award, Critics Choice Award, and Television Critics Association Award—in a single season for his performance as Michael "Robby" Robinavictch in "The Pitt."
