Authorities Investigate Couple Following Discovery of Unattended Toddler
San Bernardino County authorities are investigating a Loma Linda couple after their 2-year-old child was found alone on a street. The incident occurred last Thursday around 4:17 p.m. on Taylor Street near Anderson Street, where a school bus driver discovered the child.
In response to the alarming situation, deputies conducted a welfare check at the child’s home. Upon arrival, they uncovered "multiple firearms and narcotics" accessible to the toddler and several older children present in the house, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The parents have been identified as 34-year-old Dantion Green McGuire and 36-year-old Monae Myers.
