Blue Fox Entertainment Secures International Sales Rights for Upcoming Franchise Film
Blue Fox Entertainment has announced the acquisition of international sales rights for the highly anticipated third installment of the Tubi Original series Sidelined: The QB and Me, internationally titled The Bad Boy And Me. This sequel will see familiar faces Noah Beck and Siena Agudong reprising their roles as Drayton and Dallas, respectively, along with Charlie Gillespie returning as Skyler.
Directed by Michael Medico, the upcoming film is produced by Blue Ant Studios, Marshall Arts, and Wattpad Webtoon Studios. Blue Fox Entertainment plans to launch sales for the title at the Cannes Film Market.
The new installment continues the story based on the popular Wattpad narrative The QB Bad Boy And Me by Tay Marley. It will explore the evolving dynamics between Drayton and Dallas as they face new ambitions and challenges that test the strength of their relationship.
The film’s production team includes McKenna Marshall, Adam Wescott, Maxwell Mitcheson, Lindsay Macadam, and Jason Fischer, with additional executive producers David Madden and Jason Goldberg from Wattpad Webtoon Studios. James Huntsman, Lisa Gutberlet, and Kalani Dreimanis represent Blue Fox Entertainment in executive production, alongside Noah Beck and Siena Agudong from Blue Ant Studios.
The original Sidelined: The QB and Me achieved remarkable success, debuting at #1 in both the U.S. and Canada on Tubi during its first week, attracting the largest audience of any title on the platform at that time.
Lisa Gutberlet, President of Blue Fox Entertainment, expressed enthusiasm about the franchise’s growth, stating, “With The Bad Boy And Me evolving into a true franchise, we are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Lindsay Macadam and McKenna Marshall, along with the incredible teams at Blue Ant Studios, Marshall Arts, and Wattpad Webtoon Studios. Noah and Siena have built a deeply engaged fanbase around these characters, and we’re excited to bring audiences the next chapter of their journey.”
