Nikki DeLoach Talks About Botox, Helping Others, and Preparing for Hallmark Films
Nikki DeLoach Returns to Hallmark for a Special Christmas Film
Nikki DeLoach, a beloved figure in Hallmark’s film lineup with over 20 movies to her credit, is set to star in A Grand Ole Opry Christmas. This film marks a historic collaboration with the iconic venue as it celebrates its 100th anniversary. Featuring original music by country star Brad Paisley, the story centers on a woman unpacking deeply ingrained memories as she revisits the stage that has influenced her family’s legacy. Kristoffer Polaha joins DeLoach in the cast.
In her endeavors beyond acting, DeLoach is equally dedicated to philanthropy. After her youngest son received life-saving care from Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, she became deeply involved, serving as President of the Foundation Board of Trustees. Currently, she co-chairs a $1.25 billion campaign aimed at enhancing the hospital’s mission to provide exemplary care to children. DeLoach has also designed a custom charm bracelet to further support this cause.
Her advocacy is not limited to pediatric care; she also carries on her father’s legacy through Mind What Matters, where she serves on the board and co-hosts a caregiving podcast. Additionally, she is a Celebrity Champion for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Recently, DeLoach took a moment to reflect on beauty, balance, and the holiday season, fresh from her appearance on the Hallmark float at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
"I don’t know if I’ve ever been more excited for one of my Hallmark movies to air than I am with A Grand Ole Opry Christmas,” DeLoach expressed. “It was a dream come true for me as a young girl growing up in the South, knowing about the Grand Ole Opry, loving country music and all the legends who grace its stage. It was such a meaningful place to my father and me."
When asked about her daily routine, DeLoach acknowledged the challenges of juggling her responsibilities. “I don’t have an assistant. That would probably help a lot. I feel like I never get through my to-do list in a day,” she said. “What I have learned is that perfectionism is boring. It’s also unattainable. I just wake up every day and do the best with what’s in front of me. Everything I’m part of is purpose-driven and intentional.”
DeLoach launched a collaboration for a bracelet with Rain Jewelry, designed to support Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. “It’s part of a fundraising initiative, our largest to date, in honor of the hospital’s 125 years of history,” she noted.
As DeLoach discussed her approach to beauty, she emphasized self-care and personal acceptance. “I’m trying to strike a balance between taking care of myself and embracing the life I’ve lived,” she explained. “Every day that I get to be here, wrinkles or not, what a gift.”
She shared her beauty regimen, which includes using products by Dr. Lancer and focusing on hydration and exercise. “I really fight for my sleep,” she added, acknowledging the difficulties of balancing her professional commitments with personal well-being.
In reflecting on self-care and mental health, DeLoach urged others to seek joy and connection. “You’ve got to wake up and look for the miracles, big and small,” she said. “Take the time to meet up with girlfriends. Dance; that’s something that brings me joy.”
DeLoach concluded with a reminder of the importance of caring for oneself amid life’s challenges. “Ladies, you are worth it. This is your one precious life. Give it all you’ve got in terms of taking care of yourself.”
