As of today, November 28, fans can explore new music inspired by the latest episodes of the series. The digital edition of Season 5, Volume 1 features pop and rock classics from artists including ABBA, Michael Jackson, The Psychedelic Furs, and Tiffany.
The release of Volume 2 is scheduled for December 26, followed by Volume 3 on January 1, 2026, which will compile all three volumes with additional material.
Additionally, a complete soundtrack for Stranger Things: Soundtrack from the Netflix Series, Season 5 will be released on January 30, 2026, in multiple formats including CD, vinyl, and a red cassette through Legacy Recordings, a division of Sony Music Entertainment. Colored vinyl options will range from standard black to Amazon’s exclusive red smoke and more.
This staggered release aligns with the fifth and final season of Stranger Things, which premiered its first four episodes on November 26.
Netflix recently teased viewers with an official trailer that debuted in October, featuring a remix of Queen’s “Who Wants To Live Forever,” originally from the 1980s sci-fi film Highlander.
Produced by the Duffer Brothers and Emmy-winning Nora Felder, the soundtrack album promises to capture the essence of the series. Since its debut in 2016, Stranger Things has taken audiences back to the ’80s, immersing them in its unique cultural landscape.
The show has not only launched the careers of its young actors but has also revived many classic songs. For instance, Season Four saw Kate Bush’s 1985 hit “Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God)” become a chart-topping phenomenon, while Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” entered the Billboard Hot 100 during a pivotal season finale moment.
