New Microdrama Company by ‘The Age of Adaline’ Writer Kicks Off with Nicole Mattox, Seth Edeen, Molly Anderson, and Haley Lohrli
EXCLUSIVE: Salvador Paskowitz, co-writer of The Age of Adaline, has partnered with Timothy “Timo” Nelligan to establish Super Punchy Studios, a new venture focused on microdrama production.
The company’s inaugural project, Step By Step, features emerging talent in short-form drama, including Nicole Mattox, Seth Edeen, Molly Anderson, and Haley Lohrli. The first of 60 episodes is slated to premiere in May 2026 and is currently in production.
Written by Kristin Monroe Paskowitz and Halo Gracey, Step By Step will be produced and distributed via a dedicated Super Punchy app platform. The studio enjoys support from established names in the short-form sector, Mattox and Edeen.
Paskowitz previously co-wrote the 2015 fantasy-romance film The Age of Adaline, which Lionsgate released, achieving a global box office of $65 million.
“At Super Punchy, we’re not chasing the evolution of vertical storytelling; we are actively shaping it,” said Paskowitz.
Nelligan emphasized the studio’s commitment to originality: “The future of this medium belongs to those who prioritize originality, ownership, and efficiency. We have this and represent a new mindset in the industry that will resonate most with global audiences. We are not volume-driven; we are artist-driven.”
