Netflix to Host Fan Screenings for "Stranger Things" Season 5 Finale
Netflix has announced a full schedule of cities and theaters set to host fan screenings of the Season 5 finale of Stranger Things. The highly anticipated episode will have a runtime of two hours and five minutes.
Beginning December 31, 2025, at 5:00 PM PT, screenings will occur in over 500 theaters across the U.S. and Canada, coinciding with the episode’s global premiere on Netflix. The screenings will continue until January 1, 2026. A comprehensive list of participating theaters and RSVP information will be available on Netflix’s official website.
Volume 1 of the fifth and final season premiered on November 26, 2025, releasing four episodes. Volume 2, featuring the final three episodes, is scheduled to debut on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025.
The decision to showcase the finale in theaters has been warmly welcomed by the show’s creators, Matt and Ross Duffer, and executive producer and director Shawn Levy. Levy emphasized that the finale "deservedly" belongs on the big screen.
In conjunction with the finale’s release, Netflix has collaborated with LEGO to produce a Creel House set. This extensive model includes figurines for key characters such as Mike, Will, Eleven, and Vecna, among others. The set, comprising 2,593 pieces, also features vehicles like Steve’s BMW.
Promotional activities surrounding Season 5 have been extensive, ranging from a unique Gatorade campaign to partnerships with various merchandise brands, generating significant excitement leading up to the series finale.
