Mika Yamamori’s Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki (In the Clear Moonlit Dusk) Vol. 10 has secured the top spot on Billboard Japan’s Book Hot 100, as announced on January 22.

The Japan Book Hot 100 ranks titles based on a combination of physical sales, e-books, library loans, subscription statistics, and social media engagement. This week, Uruwashi no Yoi no Tsuki Vol. 10 achieved notable success, ranking No. 1 in e-books, No. 2 in physical store sales, and No. 15 in e-commerce, placing within the top 20 across three categories. The series follows a romantic narrative involving two characters who share the nickname “Prince,” and a TV anime adaptation has been airing since January.

Winners of the Akutagawa and Naoki Prizes Announced

This week also marked the announcement of the winners for the 174th Akutagawa Prize and the Naoki Prize. The Akutagawa Prize was jointly awarded to Toki no Ie by Makoto Toriyama and Sakebi by Ushio Hatakeyama, while the Naoki Prize went to Cafe no Kaerimichi by Teru Shimazu.
