Michelle Monaghan Joins Season 3 Cast of Apple TV’s Your Friends & Neighbors
Following her acclaimed performance in Season 3 of HBO’s The White Lotus, Michelle Monaghan has been announced as a series regular for the third season of Apple TV’s popular drama Your Friends & Neighbors. She will join Jon Hamm, who stars and serves as an executive producer on the show.
While specific character details remain undisclosed, sources indicate that Monaghan, who has signed a one-year contract, is set to portray a potential new love interest for Hamm’s character, Andrew Cooper.
This new role marks Monaghan’s return to Apple TV after her stint as a series regular in Season 1 of the crime drama Bad Monkey. Additionally, she will reprise her notable role alongside Mark Wahlberg in The Family Plan 2, which is set for release in 2025.
Created by Jonathan Tropper, Your Friends & Neighbors has already been renewed for a third season ahead of its Season 2 premiere. The current season, which is now streaming with new episodes released every Friday, follows Andrew Cooper as he embraces life as an unlikely suburban thief. However, the arrival of a new neighbor threatens to unveil his secrets and jeopardize his family.
The series features a strong ensemble cast, including Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Gravitt, and Donovan Colan. James Marsden joins the cast in Season 2 as Andrew’s affluent new neighbor.
Produced by Apple Studios, Your Friends & Neighbors is developed by Tropper, who is also the showrunner and director, under his overall deal with Apple TV. Hamm co-executive produces alongside Connie Tavel, Craig Gillespie, Jamie Rosengard, Lori Keith Douglas, and Stephanie Laing, who directs six episodes.
Monaghan received an Actor Award nomination for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series as part of The White Lotus Season 3 cast. Currently, she is in production for Netflix’s Untitled Hockey Series, where she takes the lead role.
In addition to this, Monaghan is set to feature in two upcoming Netflix films: the comedy Little Brother, alongside John Cena and Eric André, and the crime thriller The Whisper Man, which stars Robert De Niro, Adam Scott, and Michael Keaton. She is represented by Gersh, Anonymous Content, and Sloane Offer.
