Michael B. Jordan Teams Up with His Niece and Nephew for a First Look at Netflix’s Animated Film “Swapped”
This morning, Netflix released the official trailer for the animated film Swapped, featuring voice performances from Michael B. Jordan and Juno Temple.
In a brief clip shared across Netflix’s social media platforms, Jordan introduces the trailer alongside his young niece and nephew, setting an engaging tone for the upcoming release.
Directed by Nathan Greno, known for Tangled, Swapped is a collaboration between Netflix and Skydance Animation. The screenplay is crafted by John Whittington, Christian Magalhaes, and Robert Snow, with the story developed by Whittington, Adam Karp, Magalhaes, Snow, and Greno.
The film’s official synopsis describes it as a buddy comedy centered on a small woodland creature, voiced by Michael B. Jordan, and a majestic bird, voiced by Juno Temple. These lifelong rivals in The Valley unexpectedly swap bodies and must join forces, navigating through each other’s unique challenges as they embark on an adventurous quest.
Producers for Swapped include industry veterans John Lasseter, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Mary Ellen Bauder Andrews. The film also stars Cedric the Entertainer and Tracy Morgan.
This project marks Jordan’s return to the screen since his Best Actor nomination for Sinners. The trailer is now available for viewers to enjoy.
