Prime Video to Premiere Megan Park’s YA Series ‘Sterling Point’ on August 5
Prime Video has announced that the highly anticipated young adult series Sterling Point, created by Megan Park, will debut on August 5. All eight episodes will be available for streaming in over 240 countries and territories. The platform also released two first-look images to provide viewers with a sneak peek of the new series.
Sterling Point centers on 17-year-old Annie Jacobson, portrayed by Ella Rubin. Raised in New York City alongside her twin brother, Keen Ruffalo, and their loving adoptive father, Jay Duplass, Annie’s life takes a dramatic turn when she inherits a mysterious island from her grandfather in Canada. The series explores her journey as she uncovers new friendships, experiences romance, and discovers family secrets.
The cast features a talented ensemble, including Amélie Elisabeth Hoeferle, Jacob Whiteduck-Lavoie, Daniel Quinn-Toye, Bo Bragason, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Nikko Angelo Hinayo, Mabel Strachan, Elle-Maija Talifeathers, and Missi Pyle.
Produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Fake Empire, and LuckyChap, Sterling Point is directed by Park, who also serves as co-showrunner and executive producer alongside Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, with Dani Gorin and Tom Ackerley from LuckyChap.
