Having begun her career at the age of 12, Millie rapidly ascended to fame after landing her breakout role. To support her burgeoning career, her parents, Kelly and Robert Brown, relocated the family multiple times across the globe.
In addition to Millie, the Browns include older sisters Paige and Charlie and their younger sister Ava. The family shares a close bond, often supporting Millie at personal and professional milestones, including her upcoming wedding to Jake Bongiovi in 2024.
Millie has frequently collaborated with her siblings on various projects, including the successful film Enola Holmes. In a September 2020 interview with Who What Wear, she highlighted the joy of working with her siblings, noting, “They are my best friends.”
### They Moved Around a Lot as Kids

Millie was born in Spain in 2004, where she lived until age four. The family then moved to England for another four years before heading to Orlando, Florida. By the time Millie was eight and starting her acting career, the family relocated to Los Angeles to facilitate her audition process. After she secured the role in Stranger Things, they ultimately settled in Atlanta.
### They Are Very Close

Millie’s upbringing has significantly contributed to maintaining her grounded perspective despite her rise to stardom. In an August 2020 interview with Glamour UK, she shared her appreciation for her family, stating, “Genuinely I love hanging out with my family, they are just the coolest people, they’re like my friends.”
She reflected on the challenges of her career, explaining that her family helps her navigate the pressures of public life and online bullying. Millie expressed her struggles with self-identity, highlighting how important her family’s support is in fostering her growth.
### Paige is a Producer

Paige has established herself as a producer, collaborating with Millie at their family’s production company, PCMA Productions. Their first project together, Enola Holmes, premiered in 2020. Paige discovered the Enola Holmes Mysteries series by Nancy Springer and introduced it to Millie.
Both sisters have revealed they work closely together, seamlessly combining their ideas during the creative process without significant differences in vision. In addition to their successful partnerships, Paige and Millie share a deep personal bond, further demonstrated by Millie’s attendance at Paige’s wedding in August 2025.
### Charlie is a Photographer
Millie’s older brother, Charlie, also plays a significant role in her creative endeavors. He has worked as a photographer for several of her projects, including her cover stories for Who What Wear and Glamour UK. Furthermore, he served as the director of photography for a short film Millie released with Samsung in April 2022.
During a conversation with Glamour UK, Millie remarked on the importance of including Charlie in her projects, stating it added a youthful perspective to the film’s photography.
### They Aren’t Interested in the Public Side of Show Business
Despite their involvement in the film industry, Millie’s siblings maintain a grounded outlook. In a 2017 appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Millie mentioned that her siblings treat her like a normal teenager, saying, “They don’t really care, which I love that. It’s great.”

Ava, the youngest sibling, has also contributed to Millie’s projects, notably appearing in a spring campaign for Millie’s clean makeup line, Florence by Mills. In the campaign, Ava was featured showcasing a product named after her, demonstrating the family’s collaborative spirit.
### They Support Millie on Set

On the set of her projects, such as Enola Holmes 2, Millie finds comfort in having her siblings around. She explained during a SAG-AFTRA Foundation interview in November 2022 that their presence alleviates feelings of isolation associated with long filming periods. Millie expresses that her siblings not only provide emotional support but also serve as excellent collaborators.
Having her family attend the premiere of Enola Holmes 2 in October 2022 symbolized their unyielding support. Millie articulated the importance of this bond during the event, stating, “I wouldn’t have gotten this film if all of these people weren’t here, so for them to be here and to support me… they need to come here and celebrate with me.”
