The former couple shares three daughters: Rumer, 37; Scout, 34; and Tallulah, 31. Moore reminisced about how the film’s themes resonated with her personal experiences, particularly recalling moments when Willis would fill their home with Neil Diamond’s music. “Watching the movie just kept reminding me of when he would blast Neil Diamond, and I’d say, ‘What’s going on?’” she recalled. “And he said, ‘No, it’s Neil Diamond Day.’”
In a nod to their enduring friendship, Moore praised the film’s warmth, noting, “the generosity of what this film is, what your performance is, Hugh’s, also the kids, I thought were extraordinary.” Her comments came as she expressed support for Hudson’s co-star, Hugh Jackman.

Reflecting on their relationship, Willis has previously stated, “I still love Demi. We’re very close. We have three children whom we will continue to raise together, and we’re probably as close now as we ever were.” This sentiment underscores their commitment to co-parenting, even as Willis married Emma Heming Willis in 2009.
Moore joined the ensemble at Willis’s wedding to Heming, marking a new chapter in their extended family dynamics, which Willis described as having “become like a tribe.” The close-knit nature of their family continues to thrive, supported by shared experiences and respect for one another.
