Meagan Good and Durrell ‘Tank’ Babbs Join the Cast of Reasonable Doubt Season 4
New Additions Announced for the Fourth Season of Reasonable Doubt
The fourth season of Reasonable Doubt will introduce two new series regulars: Meagan Good, known for her roles in Harlem and Day Shift, and Durrell “Tank” Babbs, recognized for his work in Broadway’s Hell’s Kitchen and The New Edition Story. They join the existing cast members, including Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo, and Angela Grovey.
The series, produced by Onyx Collective for Hulu and created by Raamla Mohamed Hunter, centers on Jacqueline “Jax” Stewart, portrayed by Corinealdi. Jax is a high-powered criminal defense attorney in Los Angeles, grappling with personal challenges such as past traumas, a troubled marriage, motherhood, and the demands of a murder case.
In the upcoming season, a violent attack leaves Jax’s family and her law firm reeling, casting doubt on their future. With one of Jax’s most loyal clients embroiled in a media crisis, The Stewart Firm finds itself in a precarious position where every decision could determine its survival or downfall. As they confront their grief and mounting pressure, a critical question arises: Can they rebuild in time, or will hastening their recovery cost them everything?
Good will portray Regina Harris, the new district attorney characterized by her intelligence, compassion, and shrewdness. Babbs takes on the role of Eric Cropper, a wealthy R&B artist and Jax’s long-time client. Eric is depicted as charming yet calculating, used to getting his way at all costs.
Reasonable Doubt is created, written, and executive produced by Raamla Mohamed Hunter, with Kerry Washington serving as an executive producer alongside Pilar Savone for Simpson Street and Larry Wilmore for Wilmore Films. Co-executive producers include Tamara Gregory, Anton Cropper, Lena Cordina, and Erika L. Johnson. The series is produced by 20th Television, part of Disney Television Studios.
