Maura Higgins Responds to Plastic Surgery Rumors: Here’s What She Really Thinks
Maura Higgins, known for her role on “The Traitors,” has addressed persistent rumors regarding her appearance in a recent interview with Allure. The reality TV star discussed her beauty routine, including her past experiences with plastic surgery claims.
Reflecting on her image evolution since her 2019 debut on “Love Island,” Higgins firmly stated that she has not undergone any surgical procedures. “All the time, I’m seeing these videos come up on TikTok, and it’s like, yeah, she’s definitely had cheek filler. The amount of times I’ve read that I’ve had cheek filler … I have never in my life had cheek filler,” she asserted.
Higgins expressed her frustration with speculation about her appearance, particularly around claims of an eyelift. “They say I’ve had an eyelift, but I don’t know how that procedure is done,” she emphasized. While she acknowledged previously using lip fillers, she clarified that she has not had them in years and does receive Botox treatments regularly.
Additionally, Higgins revealed that she has improved her smile through Invisalign and dental bonding, noting, “which obviously is going to change my face a lot.” She also mentioned weight loss and refined makeup techniques as factors contributing to her current look.
While addressing the rumors, Higgins maintained her commitment to honesty, stating, “If I went and got work done, I would be so open about it. If it’s something that’s going to make me feel more confident in myself, and I wanted something done, I would go and do it.” Notably, she expressed interest in a potential future facelift, mentioning a specific surgeon she admires, saying, “I want to go to Kris Jenner’s person because that was incredible.”
Through her candid remarks, Higgins highlights the often relentless scrutiny public figures face regarding their appearances, while asserting her commitment to transparency in her choices and experiences.
