Matthew Stafford Joins Three Teammates in Pro Bowl Selection
Rams Stars Selected for Pro Bowl as Team Eyes Playoff Berth
The NFL has announced that Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford, receiver Puka Nacua, and edge rushers Jared Verse and Byron Young have been voted to the Pro Bowl. This recognition comes as the Rams prepare for a crucial game against the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night, with a current record of 11-4 and the sixth seed in the NFC playoffs.
Stafford, aged 37, leads the league with 4,179 passing yards and has thrown 40 touchdowns against just five interceptions. His impressive performance adds to a storied career that includes previous Pro Bowl selections in 2014 and 2023.
Joining Stafford on the NFC roster are quarterbacks Sam Darnold of the Seattle Seahawks and Dak Prescott of the Dallas Cowboys.
Nacua, a third-year player, is in the midst of a standout season, leading the NFL with 114 receptions and ranking second with 1,592 receiving yards. He was also honored with a Pro Bowl selection as a rookie last year.
Young, also in his third year, has excelled with 11 sacks this season, placing him among the top ten in the league. This marks his first Pro Bowl recognition. Meanwhile, Verse is celebrated for his disruptive playstyle, achieving 6.5 sacks. He made the Pro Bowl last season and was named the NFL’s defensive rookie of the year.
The Pro Bowl Games are scheduled for February 3 in San Francisco, highlighting the achievements of these players as the Rams strive for success in the postseason.
