Mandy Moore recently celebrated the closing of Hilary Duff’s "Small Rooms, Big Nerves" tour, expressing her admiration for the actress and singer. On Friday, January 30, Moore took to Instagram Stories during her performance at The Wiltern in Los Angeles to label Duff a “sensational icon queen.” This heartfelt message came just a day after Duff concluded her sold-out tour.
“I broke my brick time to say that my bud is a sensational icon queen giving us all what we needed,” wrote Moore, 41, over a photo of Duff, 38, captivating the audience on stage. She added, "You are forever a superstar, @hilaryduff!!!!"
Moore also shared footage of Duff performing her 2025 single "Mature," accompanying it with the caption, "My fav song!" The video depicted Duff’s husband, Matthew Koma, and Moore’s husband, Taylor Goldsmith, enjoying the lively performance.
Members of Duff’s mom group, including Gaby Dalkin and Janice Lee, were also spotted in attendance at the Los Angeles concert.

In recent months, both Duff and Moore have shown support for each other. In December 2025, they celebrated the holiday season together, sharing moments with their children. Moore noted their shared history, explaining how both families have bonded, especially noting the refuge she sought at Duff’s home amid the ongoing L.A. wildfires after her house sustained damage.
The occasion comes on the heels of a public discussion surrounding "toxic" friendships among celebrity mom groups, sparked by Ashley Tisdale’s recent essay. While Tisdale did not name her former friends, speculation has arisen linking her comments to Duff, Moore, and their circle.
Moore is set to appear in the upcoming comedy The Breadwinner on March 13, while Duff prepares to release her first album in a decade, luck…or something, on February 20.
