Love Island USA Is Back for Season 8 on Peacock with a Premiere Date!
Love Island USA is set to return to Peacock with its highly anticipated Season 8.
NBCUniversal has confirmed the renewal of the popular reality dating series, which will premiere in June. This decision follows the success of Season 7, which became the platform’s most-watched original season, amassing over 18 billion minutes viewed.
The prior season achieved significant milestones, ranking as the top streaming original title in the U.S. during its finale week and maintaining the status of the leading streaming reality show for six consecutive weeks, according to Nielsen data.
Season 8, hosted by former Vanderpump Rules star Ariana Madix, will continue to film in Fiji and is scheduled to debut on June 2, mirroring the release date of the previous year.

Joining the main series is the docuseries spinoff Love Island: Beyond the Villa, which was renewed in November and is set to premiere on April 15.
Beyond the Villa will feature winners Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales as they resume their daily lives, alongside fellow contestants from Season 7, including Gracyn Blackmore, Jeremiah Brown, and Clarke Carraway.
Both Love Island USA and its spinoff are produced by ITV America, and Beyond the Villa is developed in collaboration with WPP’s Motion Entertainment. The executive production team for Love Island USA includes David George, Adam Sher, and several others, while Beyond the Villa is led by George, Sher, and their respective colleagues.
Notably, Love Island USA has seen consistent growth throughout its run, prompting ITV America to use the series as a key case study for intellectual property expansion.
Furthermore, discussions about a potential feature film adaptation of the series are underway. “Why are we not taking Love Island and figuring out how we’re going to translate that into the movie world?” George inquired. “There may be something going there. I can’t even begin to tell you what it is, but there are those types of conversations.”
