Lori Loughlin’s New Look: Short Hair and Bangs Make a Fresh Statement
Lori Loughlin Unveils Dramatic Hair Transformation at LACMA Gala
Lori Loughlin made headlines with a striking new look at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Opening Gala on April 16. The 61-year-old actress, known for her role in Full House, surprised many with her recently cropped bob, accented with caramel highlights and thick curtain bangs.
Accompanied by her daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, Loughlin turned heads not just for her hair but also for her fashion choice: a sequined silver dress featuring a thigh-high slit. She completed her ensemble with matching stilettos, a metallic manicure, and delicate stud earrings. Makeup artist Lyndsay Zavitz prepared her look, opting for a smoky eye and a taupe lip color that highlighted her features.
In contrast, Giannulli, 26, wore a black dress adorned with a lace bodice and a layered silk train. Her hairstyle featured soft curls styled in a half-up, half-down fashion, complemented by light makeup that included mascara, blush, and a cinnamon-hued lip gloss.
Notably, this hair transformation marks a significant departure from Loughlin’s previous look just last month, where she sported long, chestnut-colored locks styled in a soft, curled ponytail at a When Calls the Heart red carpet event.
According to insiders, Loughlin is reportedly embracing new beginnings following her split from estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli in October 2025, with sources claiming she is "putting herself back out there" and dating once again. "Lori has her spark back," said a source, emphasizing her focus on keeping things light and casual in her new romantic endeavors.
Loughlin’s recent appearance and personal updates suggest a shift as she continues to redefine her image in the public eye.
