Lori Loughlin continues to feel "extremely angry" towards her estranged husband Mossimo Giannulli, according to sources. The couple, who share two daughters, announced their separation in October after nearly 28 years of marriage.
A source noted, "Lori is still extremely angry with him," indicating a rift that has persisted since their split. Loughlin, 61, and Giannulli, 62, have since been living separate lives.
Despite Loughlin’s feelings, another insider shared that Giannulli holds a favorable view of the actress, expressing that he believes she is a "lovely person and an incredible mom." The source added that Giannulli prefers to resolve matters quietly.
Their separation came to light last October, with Loughlin’s representative stating that they were "taking a break from their marriage," while confirming no legal proceedings were underway at that time. Following their split, further sources indicated that their marriage struggled to recover from the pressures of the College Admissions scandal.
In May 2020, both Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud after admitting to paying $500,000 to a college consultant who falsely represented their daughters, Olivia Jade Giannulli and Isabella Rose Giannulli, as recruits for the University of Southern California’s crew team, despite neither participating in the sport.

Both Loughlin and Giannulli served time in prison for their roles in the scandal, with Loughlin spending two months and Giannulli five months behind bars. Since then, the couple’s relationship has faced significant challenges. A source remarked that "things have never been the same" after enduring the ordeal of the college admission scandal and their subsequent sentences, stating that they are "moving on with separate priorities."
Feelings of betrayal mark Loughlin’s perspective, with sources indicating that returning to a united front appears unlikely. Additionally, friends supportive of Loughlin are reportedly displeased with Giannulli. An insider stated that many of her friends, who share similar experiences of divorce, are rallying behind her and harbor negative sentiments toward him.
On October 20, John Stamos, Loughlin’s former co-star on Full House, openly expressed his thoughts about her breakup on the Good Guys podcast, highlighting the struggles Loughlin faced during her marriage. "She put up with a lot over the years of this guy," Stamos commented. He lamented Loughlin’s distress, emphasizing her character as a good person, mother, and wife, and expressed his deep concern for her well-being during this difficult time.
