LeAnn Rimes Clarifies She Won’t Join ‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Amid Rumors
LeAnn Rimes has dismissed rumors suggesting she will join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, confirming that she has no plans to participate in the reality show.
The star of 9-1-1: Nashville took to social media to clarify that the role of Dixie in the ABC drama is sufficient drama for her.
“No, no… no Housewives for me,” Rimes stated on Instagram, in a post echoed by Ringer Reality TV. She added, “Playing Dixie on 9-1-1: Nashville is drama enough for me.”
As The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 15 nears its conclusion, with the third part of the reunion set to air on Bravo on May 7, Rimes’ name had surfaced as a potential new cast member for the upcoming season, which is expected to begin filming in the next few months.
In her role on 9-1-1: Nashville, Rimes portrays Dixie Bennings, a struggling musician and mother. The series, produced by Ryan Murphy, has recently been renewed for a second season after a successful premiere. The show ranks among the Top 10 dramas in multi-platform viewing for Adults 18-49, and it stands as television’s No. 1 new drama in this demographic.
Currently, the cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills includes notable figures such as Kyle Richards, Sutton Stracke, Erika Jayne, Amanda Frances, Dorit Kemsley, Bozoma Saint John, and Rachel Zoe. Additionally, Jennifer Tilly and Kathy Hilton appear as friends of the group this season.
Brandi Glanville, a former star of the series, took to social media to express her hope that the rumors of Rimes joining were true, jokingly adding on X, “She got everything else of mine.” This comment references Rimes’ marriage to Glanville’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.
