Kountry Wayne to Release New Special ‘Nostalgia’ on Prime Video
Comedian Kountry Wayne is set to debut his second comedy special, Nostalgia, on Prime Video on March 23rd.
In this upcoming special, Wayne aims to evoke the essence of ’90s comedy, blending humor with touching moments. He plans to deliver a blend of raw, engaging, and insightful material, focusing on themes of family, love, and relationships.
Nostalgia follows his successful 2023 debut special, A Woman’s Prayer, which premiered at No. 1 on Netflix and has since garnered over 5.2 million views according to the streamer’s reports. Produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Rotten Science, the new hour is executed produced by Wayne alongside Matthew Vaughan, Jeff Tomsic, Josh Pearl, and Molly Mandel.
Kountry Wayne, whose real name is DeWayne Colley, has significantly broadened his audience in recent years, amassing over 18 million followers across various platforms and achieving more than 1.2 billion views on Facebook through his widely shared comedic content.
Currently, Wayne can be seen in the Taika Waititi series Time Bandits on Apple TV. He recently wrapped filming the indie comedy That’s Her, which he co-produced, co-wrote, and starred in.
