Kid Rock and RFK Jr. Share Shirtless Workout Video Supporting the MAHA Agenda
Trending on Billboard
Kid Rock’s connection with the MAGA movement continues to gain attention. A week after his participation in a pre-recorded livestream for the right-wing organization Turning Point USA, aimed at diverting viewers from Bad Bunny’s historic Super Bowl LX halftime performance, the rocker was back in the spotlight on February 17.

In a recent video, Rock, 55, joined forces with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., 72, to promote the latter’s controversial Make America Health Again (MAHA) initiative. The 90-second clip, aptly titled “Secretary Kennedy and Kid Rock’s Rock Out Workout,” emphasizes two messages: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD.
The video, set to Rock’s 1999 hit “Bawitdaba,” opens with both individuals shirtless, flexing their muscles—Kennedy in jeans and Rock in black shorts. A montage includes imagery such as a stuffed bear in a hat, a great white shark, an American flag, and a bald eagle, culminating with Kennedy enjoying what seems to be a steak dinner in front of a miniature Statue of Liberty.
Initially resembling a standard workout video—with Kennedy performing bicep curls, both men tackling tricep exercises, and Kennedy supporting Rock during sit-ups—the video takes an unusual turn as Kennedy removes his shirt and jumps on an exercise bike within a sauna, while Rock does push-ups in the background.
As the workout continues, Rock is seen flipping the bird while pedaling shoeless. Kennedy then plunges into a cold pool still in his jeans, and the two engage in leisurely activities, including a game of pickleball and sharing a glass of whole milk while relaxing in the water.
At this time, a spokesperson for Rock did not provide comments regarding the video.
Rock’s collaboration with Kennedy follows a similarly controversial Super Bowl advertisement featuring former boxer Mike Tyson, which aimed to promote “real food.” Critics noted that the ad could be viewed as an attempt to “fat-shame America.”
Kennedy, who has openly discussed his recovery from substance abuse, recently shared that he is unafraid of germs due to past experiences, including “snorting cocaine off toilet seats.” He has also restructured dietary guidelines to favor nutrient-dense whole foods and healthy fats.
Following his appearance at the Turning Point USA event, Rock made a notable entry on multiple charts with his rendition of Cody Johnson’s 2022 hit “Til’ You Can’t,” which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart for the February 21 survey. This version also entered the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs at No. 9, the Hot Country Songs at No. 14, and the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 69, featuring updated lyrics with a Christian theme and marking Rock’s first appearance on the Hot Christian Songs chart.
