Kelly Reilly Shares Her Hopes for a Dutton Ranch and Marshals Crossover: “Maybe It Will Happen”
Nearly two years after the conclusion of Yellowstone, Kelly Reilly, who portrayed Beth Dutton, expressed her longing for her on-screen brother, played by Luke Grimes.
Reilly, who continues her role in the new Dutton Ranch series on Paramount+, recently revealed her desire for a crossover with Grimes’ character, U.S. Marshal Kayce Dutton, in his CBS spin-off, Marshals.
“I’m so proud of Luke, and we love him so much, and I miss him,” Reilly stated in an interview with People. “I wish we had a crossover. Maybe we will in the future.”
Set to premiere on May 15 on Paramount+, Dutton Ranch follows Reilly’s character Beth and her husband, Rip, played by Cole Hauser, as they take significant risks to establish a new life in South Texas, away from the challenges of Yellowstone, only to face a ruthless rival ranch.
Airing Sundays at 8 PM ET/PT on CBS, Marshals features Grimes as Kayce, who joins an elite group of U.S. Marshals tasked with safeguarding Montana. The show recently received an early Season 2 renewal, with the first season’s finale scheduled for May 24.

Reilly and Grimes’ respective spin-offs emerged after the five-season run of Yellowstone concluded in December 2024, which also led to the creation of the prequel series 1883 and 1923.
