SACRAMENTO — Kawhi Leonard delivered an impressive performance with 31 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists, leading the Los Angeles Clippers to a narrow 114-111 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Friday night. This win snapped the Clippers’ two-game losing streak while extending the Kings’ losing streak to 11 games.
John Collins contributed significantly to the Clippers’ success, adding 22 points, while Brook Lopez and Kris Dunn each chipped in with 15 points. The game marked a notable absence for Darius Garland, recently acquired from Cleveland, who is sidelined due to a sprained toe and hasn’t played since January 14.
On the other side, Malik Monk emerged as Sacramento’s lead scorer with 18 points. Nique Clifford followed closely with 16 points, while both Dylan Cardwell and Devin Carter scored 14 points each. De’Andre Hunter, also recently traded from the Cavaliers, added six points in his second game with the Kings.
