Kaley Cuoco Delves Into Dark Secrets While Searching for Her Missing Boyfriend in the ‘Vanished’ Trailer
MGM+ has unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming four-episode mystery thriller series, Vanished, starring Kaley Cuoco and Sam Claflin. The series is set to premiere on February 1.
According to the synopsis, the plot follows Alice Monroe, played by Cuoco, who embarks on a romantic vacation in France. Her getaway turns perilous when her boyfriend, Tom Parker, portrayed by Claflin, mysteriously disappears during their train journey to Arles. Alice is forced to unravel hidden truths about Tom’s past as she searches for him, leading her into a web of danger and shocking revelations.
The trailer opens with Alice expressing her desire to deepen their relationship, stating, “I love that we get to meet up in hotels all over the world, but I want to build a life.” After a reassuring conversation, Alice awakens to find Tom missing, prompting her frantic quest for answers.
Desperate to find him, she seeks assistance from law enforcement and others. During her investigation, she encounters a woman, played by Karin Viard, who has been researching Tom, which leads to revelations about his secret life. A tense exchange occurs when Alice asserts, “You don’t even know Tom,” to which the woman replies, “Do you?”
Vanished features a cast that includes Matthias Schweighöfer, Simon Abkarian, and Dar Zuzovsky. The series was created by David Hilton and Preston Thompson, with Thompson serving as the writer. Barnaby Thompson directs, and executive producers include James Clayton, David Kosse, Barnaby Thompson, Preston Thompson, Kaley Cuoco, along with AGC’s Stuart Ford, Lourdes Diaz, and Miguel A. Palos Jr.
The series will debut on February 1 in the U.S., Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Latin America, releasing weekly. In the UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, all four episodes will be available starting February 27.
