Jupiter Entertainment Plans New Soccer Series Following First-Look Deal with Kickback
EXCLUSIVE: Jupiter Entertainment, renowned for producing Oxygen’s enduring true-crime series Snapped, is making a strategic entry into the soccer realm.
The company, led by President Patrick Reardon, has finalized a first-look deal with Kickback Soccer Media to create original soccer-themed series and sports-driven content for U.S. audiences in anticipation of the 2026 and 2027 FIFA World Cups.
Jupiter will collaborate with Kickback, which boasts founders such as former CBS Sports host Susannah Fuller, CBS Sports Golazo Network reporter Claudia Pagan, and MLS player Mark-Anthony Kaye, to curate a robust soccer programming lineup.
This initiative follows Kickback’s launch last year, which included a trio of podcasts: Soccerwise, Kickback Committee, and First Touch. Other key figures at Kickback include CEO John Parker, David Gass, Tom Bogert, and Jordan Angeli.
Jupiter’s shift toward soccer content is underscored by its recent production of the documentary Lions of Mesopotamia, which explored the Iraqi national soccer team’s victory in the 2007 Asian Cup during a time of civil unrest.
