Josh McDermitt Joins ‘Fire Country’ Cast for Exciting Season 4 Role
Actor Josh McDermitt Joins CBS’s ‘Fire Country’ for Fourth Season
Josh McDermitt, known for his roles in The Walking Dead and Suits LA, is set to join the cast of CBS’s drama Fire Country as a recurring character in its fourth season. His debut episode will air on Friday, December 5.
McDermitt will portray Landon, a seemingly mild-mannered man grappling with inner turmoil. Landon is the partner of Chloe, played by Alona Tal, and serves as a father figure to her son, Tyler. The family has recently faced significant challenges, having lost their home in devastating wildfires. In a turn of events, Landon is caught off guard upon discovering that Tyler has run away, highlighting the tensions that have arisen in their lives.
Adding complexity to Landon’s character, he may find himself entangled in a love triangle. Chloe shares a history with Bode, portrayed by Max Thieriot, having been his peer tutor in high school. Both had unexpressed feelings for one another at the time, raising the possibility of rekindled romance as their paths cross again when Tyler encounters Bode.
Conor Sherry, also a new cast member, will make his first appearance on Fire Country alongside McDermitt, while Tal is scheduled to be introduced the following week.
McDermitt’s prior work includes his notable role as Dr. Eugene Porter in The Walking Dead, a performance that has garnered him significant recognition. This year, he featured in NBC’s Suits LA and made an appearance in the premiere of The Righteous Gemstones, acting opposite Bradley Cooper. His previous credits also include Showtime’s limited series The Loudest Voice alongside Russell Crowe. McDermitt is represented by Innovative Artists and Trademark Talent.
