Cameras Roll on Jonathan Majors Action Film in South Carolina
Production is underway in South Carolina for the latest action film from the Daily Wire and Bonfire Legend, featuring star Jonathan Majors. Details about the film were first revealed last week.
The ensemble cast includes comedian David Lucas, alongside newcomers JC Kilcoyne, Tyler Aser, James Bingham, and Savanna Leigh James. Also joining are actors Stephen Hailo, Myles Clohessy, and Jason Gray-Stanford.
Along with these names, the cast features singer-songwriter Darby Cappillino, Chris K. Lee, Sharon Johal, Charlotte Delaney Riggs, Hussain Syed, Paulina Alvarez, Alec Rayme, Erin Davie, Travis Mills, Siaka Massaquoi, and Justin S. Myrick.
Savannah Belcher has recently joined as a producer, while Kyle Rankin takes on the role of director, working from his own screenplay. Producers Ben Shapiro and Dallas Sonnier are overseeing production.
While the film’s title remains undisclosed, early plot details suggest a story centered on American warriors rising to defend their homeland against threats. The production has drawn comparisons to classic ’80s and ’90s action movies like Red Dawn and Toy Soldiers.
This project marks the first film or television role for Jonathan Majors in four years, following his performances in Creed III and Ant-Man.
The cast members are represented by various agencies, including Love Talent Agency, Stewart Talent, IAG, and others, showcasing a diverse talent pool contributing to the film’s production.
