Every successful football program relies on a dedicated team, and at St. John Bosco High School, that cornerstone is Jessie Christensen. Serving as the director of football operations since 2013, Christensen has become an invaluable asset to the program.
In her multifaceted role, Christensen manages everything from travel logistics to financial matters, ensuring seamless communication among players, parents, and college coaches. “She was the first of her kind. Now everybody has one,” noted head coach Jason Negro, highlighting her pioneering position in high school football operations.
Former parent and program supporter Taliuta Viliamu-Asa praised Christensen’s extensive contributions, stating, “She wears so many hats and ensures each year that the whole operations, academics study halls, grade checks, player feeding, banquet, games, media visitors, ball boys, volunteers, tailgate, middle school camps, and etc. are well planned out.” Her comprehensive oversight ensures that every aspect of the program—from events to fundraisers—operates smoothly and effectively.
