In a heartwarming display of fatherhood, singer Jesse McCartney recently introduced his newest co-writer: his eight-month-old son, Archer. The announcement came via a video McCartney shared on social media.

On January 29, McCartney posted a clip on Instagram where he was seen sitting at the piano, crafting new songs while Archer, snugly strapped to his chest, appeared relaxed with a pacifier in his mouth. The video also featured audio of Kim Kardashian, adding a playful touch to the creative scene. “I have a new co-writer ✍🏻🎹,” McCartney captioned the post.

Since welcoming Archer in May, McCartney and his wife, Katie Peterson, have consistently shared glimpses into their family life. In October, Peterson posted pictures of herself and Archer at McCartney’s concert in New York City, where the little one was seen adorned in a custom-made blanket featuring the words “Beautiful Soul,” a nod to McCartney’s iconic 2004 hit of the same name.

“Apparently the answer to ‘How Do You Sleep’ is at daddy’s concert 🎧👶🏼 🏹,” she captioned the images, eliciting a sweet response from McCartney. “He’s my favorite roadie!! Miss you guys! ❤️😍🥰,” he commented, showcasing the couple’s playful affection.

In addition to concert outings, the family later celebrated Archer’s first Halloween, with the young one dressed as a puffin. Accompanied by their dog, dressed as a fish, the family scene was filled with joy, highlighted by a caption from Peterson: “Our puffling caught a fish 🐧🎣🐡 #happyhalloween.” McCartney also chimed in, calling Archer “The Skipper and his first mate! ⚓️.”
