Jenny McCarthy has openly shared her perspective on the role of artificial intelligence in personal relationships.
During a recent appearance on *Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen*, McCarthy discussed a range of topics, including an interesting admission by *Southern Charm* star Craig Conover. Conover stated he utilized ChatGPT to help process his emotions following his breakup with Paige DeSorbo.
Host Andy Cohen posed a question to McCarthy, asking, “What’s your reaction to Craig telling Whitner he cried while talking to ChatGPT about Paige?”
In response, McCarthy noted, “Well, first of all, the fact that he cries for ChatGPT, it’s a little bit — I don’t know — feminine?” She continued, “You can get advice from it, but when you’re having an emotional relationship with your phone … that’s what I call a red flag.”
Conover, 36, and DeSorbo, 33, announced the end of their relationship in December 2024, after three years of dating. DeSorbo addressed their split during a December 30 podcast episode, stating, “We have decided to no longer be together.”

DeSorbo expressed her admiration for Conover, stating, “I have so much love and respect for Craig. I think he is one of the best people I have ever met.” She added, “I will remain the biggest fan of him and want the best for him … But with that said, I think it was just the right decision for both of us moving forward.”
Weeks later, Conover addressed their breakup on his Instagram Stories, describing it as unexpected. He wrote, “I figured it’s finally time to check in with everyone. Sorry about the delay, this has all been very, very unexpected to say the least … But I guess I gotta start living again, whatever that looks like. Whatever my new normal looks like — I have to start.”
The former couple initially met in 2019 and transitioned from friends to partners.
