Jack Whitehall to Host Upcoming Episode of Saturday Night Live UK
Jack Whitehall, known for his role in The Burbs, has been announced as the host for the fourth episode of Saturday Night Live UK. The show will air live from London at 10 PM local time on April 11, followed by a one-week hiatus. Singer Jorja Smith will be the featured musical guest for this episode.
Following Whitehall, Riz Ahmed, star of Bait, will take on hosting duties for the next episode, accompanied by the rock band Kasabian. The inaugural episode of the season was hosted by Tina Fey, while The Tourist star Jamie Dornan led this past weekend’s show.
Whitehall is currently starring in the Peacock comedy The Burbs and has recently appeared in Prime Video’s Malice. He previously hosted the Brit Awards in 2026 and has a number of acting roles lined up in the near future.
Saturday Night Live UK is broadcast live on Sky and has garnered generally positive reviews from critics. The cast features Hammed Animashaun, Ayoade Bamgboye, Larry Dean, Celeste Dring, George Fouracres, Ania Magliano, Annabel Marlow, Al Nash, Jack Shep, Emma Sidi, and Paddy Young.
Produced by Universal Television Alternative Studio’s UK production team and Broadway Video, SNL UK is overseen by executive producer Lorne Michaels, with James Longman serving as the lead producer. Direction is handled by Liz Clare, while Daran Jonno Johnson is the head writer.
The production team operates under Managing Director Helen Kruger Bratt, with Shanna Baynard serving as Executive in Charge of Production. Andy Charles Smith and Sam Salter are the lead producers for UTAS UK Productions. The show was commissioned by Phil Edgar-Jones and Lisa Clark for Sky, under CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz of Sky Studios.
