Jack Black Prepares for Fifth Hosting Gig on SNL
Jack Black is set to grace the Saturday Night Live stage for the fifth time this weekend. The announcement comes alongside a lighthearted promo where Black meticulously chooses the perfect outfit for his return to Studio 8H.
In the promotional video, Black humorously navigates a selection of vibrantly patterned shirts, ultimately weighing the merits of “jorts” versus “florts.” He also considers which socks and crocs will complete his ensemble, showcasing his quintessential playful spirit. However, his preparation takes an unexpected turn when Sarah Sherman arrives to disrupt the process.
This Saturday, April 4, Black will host SNL with Jack White as the musical guest. Black affectionately refers to White as his “brother from another color.”
Having previously hosted the show in April 2022, as well as in 2005, 2003, and 2002, Black’s return marks another chapter in his long-standing relationship with SNL. The show continues to be produced by Broadway Video under the executive leadership of Lorne Michaels.
