Authorities Investigate Bomb Threat at Six Flags Magic Mountain
Los Angeles County officials are investigating a reported bomb threat at Six Flags Magic Mountain, located in Santa Clarita. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department confirmed that the threat was reported around 7:55 a.m. on Monday, May 11.
Aerial footage from SkyFOX depicted a significant presence at the scene, including a SWAT unit from the LASD and crews from the LA County Fire Department.
In a statement on social media, park officials acknowledged the ongoing police activity, saying, "We are aware of the police activity at the park and are currently monitoring the situation in coordination with local authorities." As the investigation unfolds, it remains unclear whether the park will adjust its hours of operation.
SkyFOX reporter Stu Mundel observed the deployment of the SWAT team and fire crews at the site. No additional information has been released by authorities at this time.
