In an intimate celebration at the Fieri family ranch in Sonoma, California, newlyweds Hunter and Tara Fieri are embracing their first Christmas as a married couple. Tara shared details of their festive preparations through a video on Instagram, offering a glimpse into their holiday spirit as they packed their truck for the festivities.
In the video, Tara, a professional pickleball player, can be seen arranging boxes and bags in preparation for their trip back to HuntRyde Ranch, the site of their August wedding. "When your love language is gift giving," reads the text overlay as items fill the vehicle. She humorously noted, "Hunter is under the weather and not feeling well, so [I’m] packing the whole car, making sure that things are all organized. We’re ready to head up to the ranch and yeah, Happy Merry Christmas, everybody.”
The couple tied the knot at HuntRyde Ranch on August 30, marrying in front of 350 guests in a "country chic" themed ceremony that blended ranch elegance with warm, familial touches. The location is significant; it was also where Hunter proposed to Tara the previous Thanksgiving after meeting at the Super Bowl in Arizona.
Their wedding included sentimental elements that honored both families, such as a petting zoo complete with miniature donkeys, goats, and peacocks. Hunter’s grandmother, affectionately known as "Mimi," also played a memorable role as the wedding’s flower girl.
During the vows, Tara expressed her feelings for her husband, saying, "I know it sounds cliché, but when I met Hunter, I wasn’t looking for anything. It honestly is a dream to be able to meet someone like him that’s kind of the guy version of me." She continued by highlighting their differences that complement one another, leading to a connection that feels like a lifelong friendship.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed an assortment of themed drinks and a sumptuous Italian meal crafted by a team of celebrated chefs. The dining experience was casually arranged family-style, reinforcing the communal atmosphere that Hunter desired for their special day.
Dessert featured a grand wedding cake designed by Buddy Valastro, standing nearly five feet tall and displaying nature-inspired elements while celebrating the couple’s shared passions. With flavors ranging from black-and-white cake to gluten-free options, it catered to all dietary needs and symbolized their journey together.
