Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie Make Dazzling Debuts at 2026 Met Gala
On May 4, actors Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie made their highly anticipated debuts at the Met Gala, captivating attendees with their striking fashion choices. Both stars had been considered likely invitees, bolstered by a series of notable appearances in the months leading up to the event, including runway shows and red carpet engagements.
Williams has established himself this year as a prominent figure in the fashion world, earning the title of Friend of the House at Balenciaga and starring in the brand’s campaign, "Heart and Body." Meanwhile, Storrie’s role as an official ambassador for Saint Laurent and Tiffany & Co. has further solidified his presence in the industry.
As the event commenced, Storrie stepped onto the scene first, adorned in a black Saint Laurent suit complemented by a polka-dot Lavallière blouse and an eye-catching long train. His look was elevated further with a Tiffany & Co. diamond and rubellite brooch.
While Storrie mingled with guests, including Katy Perry, Williams was still finalizing his ensemble at The Mark hotel. Posing for pre-gala photographs alongside Odessa A’zion, Williams previewed his dramatic makeup look inspired by the film Black Swan, concealed beneath a white robe.
When he arrived at the Met Museum, Williams showcased a powder blue Balenciaga suit with black trim and embellishments, a nod to a 1947 design by Cristóbal Balenciaga. His outfit was accompanied by a chic diamond pinky ring and a single hoop earring.
The 2026 Met Gala, co-chaired by high-profile figures such as Beyoncé and Nicole Kidman, celebrated "Costume Art," emphasizing the significance of the dressed body in the museum’s expansive collection. Guests were encouraged to reinterpret the theme in a personal manner, with the dress code inviting attendees to express their unique connections to fashion.
In their debut appearances, Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie embraced the evening’s thematic challenge with poise, proving themselves as strong contenders for Met Gala Rookies of the Year.
