How Hilary Duff’s Makeup Artist Achieved Glowing Skin for Her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Shoot
Hilary Duff Makes a Splash as a Swimwear Model for Sports Illustrated Cover
Hilary Duff’s recent photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue showcases a new facet of her career as the singer dons a plunging white one-piece swimsuit. At 38, Duff adds "swimwear model" to her already impressive resume, appearing on one of the four new covers for the 2026 edition of the magazine.
The photo shoot, which took place in South Caicos, allowed Duff to step outside of her comfort zone, a transition supported by her long-time makeup artist, Kelsey Deenihan. "I wanted the makeup to feel like an extension of her skin at its most radiant," Deenihan commented. She utilized Charlotte Tilbury products, including the Collagen Superfusion Facial Oil, to achieve this look.
Deenihan aims for a seamless beauty experience, stating, “It was about creating that seamless kind of beauty where everything melts together and you notice her before the makeup.” The collagen-infused face oil is touted to plump, smooth, and nourish the skin, enhancing Duff’s natural beauty.
Duff’s glowing look was complemented by the application of Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Cream and the Magic Eye Rescue, products that have garnered positive reviews for their effectiveness. "The inspiration was glowing, sunlit skin with a soft sculpt and a fresh, hydrated finish that feels effortless both on camera and in person," Deenihan elaborated on the vision for Duff’s look.
The results from the shoot are evident, as Duff appears radiant on the magazine cover, embodying the essence of summer and vitality. This collaboration not only marks an exciting milestone in Duff’s career but highlights her commitment to embracing new opportunities.
