In a recent interview, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen shone a spotlight on his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld. In a clip shared by ESPN Originals, the 29-year-old NFL player reflected on the insights he has gained about himself since their relationship began.

Allen noted, “My wife is an unbelievable, undeniable rockstar in her work and in her life as a person,” adding that she is “everything that I need in my life.” This heartfelt tribute was posted on Instagram on January 12.

When asked about the lessons he has learned from Steinfeld, Allen reflected carefully before responding. “Maybe that I am more than a football player,” he said, acknowledging that his childhood dream centered around sports. “I never thought of anything outside that or beyond that, and hopefully I get to still play this game for a very long time.”

The couple, who began dating in May 2023, tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in May 2025. They announced their pregnancy on December 12, 2025, via Steinfeld’s newsletter.

Following their announcement, the pair shared a joint post on Instagram, with Allen commenting, “I love you ❤️” on the video they posted together.

This interview clip was released just a day after a noteworthy evening for both Allen and Steinfeld on January 11. Allen led the Bills to a playoff victory, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-24, while Steinfeld’s film, Sinners, won two Golden Globe Awards for Best Original Score and the new Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award.

Despite not being able to attend the Golden Globes to support Steinfeld in person, Allen expressed his admiration through an Instagram Story that celebrated her elegant maternity style on the red carpet. Accompanying a photograph of her wearing a Prada gown, he expressed his admiration with emojis: “🤤😍.”

Looking ahead, the Bills have advanced to the divisional round of the NFL playoffs and will face the Denver Broncos on Saturday, January 17, as they pursue the 2026 Super Bowl.
