Hilary Duff Shows Natural Beauty in a Simple Towel Before Exciting Career Moment
Hilary Duff Prepares for Stage Return After a Decade
Hilary Duff is set to take the stage in London tonight for her first live performance in over ten years, marking the beginning of her "Small Rooms, Big Nerves" tour. In a series of casual selfies shared on social media, Duff shows herself in a towel and makeup-free, as she takes a moment to prepare mentally for the show.
“Show day,” she wrote on one image, adding, “Trying to act normal.” In another post, she expressed excitement for her London audience with the message, “London you better know it.”
Duff’s performance will take place at London’s Shepherd’s Bush O2 Empire on January 19. This return to the music scene coincides with the release of her new album, luck… or something, which features two singles, "Mature" and "Roommates." This will be her first new music since 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out.
The singer announced her tour plans in November after releasing "Mature." “This girl is hitting the road for some very special shows. London, Toronto, Brooklyn, LA—dust off your dancing shoes. I’m coming for you. I’m so ready (and okay, a tiny bit nervous),” she stated on Instagram.
In an interview with V Magazine, Duff expressed her nervousness about returning to live performances, admitting, “I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t scared shitless.” However, she feels reassured by the support of her husband, music producer Matthew Koma, who has been a significant source of stability. “He’s the safest person in the world to me. He’s been grinding day in and day out, and I trust him immensely,” she remarked.
As Duff embarks on this highly anticipated tour, fans await her return to the stage with great enthusiasm.
