At Pasadena City College, the boys’ Open Division will see #3 Birmingham (19-7-2) face #1 El Camino Real (18-3-1) at 6 p.m. In Division II, #9 Santee (12-7-4) will go up against #6 Garfield (11-6-3) at 1:30 p.m.
Birmingham High will host the Division I match with #1 Chavez (20-2-2) taking on #6 Cleveland (17-8-2) at 3:45 p.m. In Division III, #12 North Hollywood (11-12-5) will match up against #23 Sun Valley Magnet (14-5-2) at 1:30 p.m. Rounding out the day at Birmingham High, #8 LA Roosevelt (6-14-1) will play against #18 Port of LA (10-11-2) at 11:15 a.m.
For the girls’ matches at Pasadena City College, #1 Birmingham (14-9-2) will challenge #3 Wilmington Banning (16-4-1) at 3:45 p.m. In Division II, #1 South East (15-9-2) will face #19 Bravo (11-4-2) at 11:15 a.m., while the Division III match features #4 Marquez (17-7) squaring off against #6 Verdugo Hills (10-8-9) at 9 a.m. Meanwhile, at Birmingham High, #7 Granada Hills (12-5-2) will compete against #1 Cleveland (16-2-3) in the Open Division at 6 p.m., followed by #10 Sun Valley Poly (8-6-5) taking on #12 Monroe (8-7-4) at 9 a.m.
In Southern Section events on Friday, the boys’ Division 6 match will feature Animo Leadership (18-8-5) visiting Ontario Christian (22-4-1) at 6 p.m. The girls’ Division 6 clash will see Segerstrom (14-2-6) at Ocean View (13-6-3) beginning at 5 p.m.
On Saturday, the boys’ matches at Fred Kelly Stadium include an Open Division showdown between Orange Lutheran (13-3-4) and Mater Dei (16-1-3) at 6 p.m., along with a Division 1 match where Fontana (22-5) will take on Santa Monica (20-3-3) at 1 p.m. Division 5 features Esperanza (9-8-6) against Santa Ana Valley (18-2-3) at 10:30 a.m.
At Veterans Stadium, Division 2 will see Bishop Amat (24-4-3) facing Newport Harbor (16-3-2) at 6 p.m. and Division 3 will feature Los Alamitos (14-5-2) against Calabasas (19-1-4) at 1 p.m. At Orange Coast College, Division 8 will have Rio Hondo Prep (16-5-1) squaring off against Orange County Pacifica Christian (16-2-1) at 3 p.m.
Other matches across host sites include Division 4 with Granite Hills (16-4-5) visiting Irvine University (14-5-1) at 5 p.m., and Palmdale Charter Academy (16-2-2) competing against Pasadena Poly (16-5-1) at 3 p.m. in Division 7 at South Pasadena.
For girls’ games at Fred Kelly Stadium, the Open Division pits Santa Margarita (17-1-4) against Mater Dei (15-2-8) at 3:30 p.m. Meanwhile, at Veterans Stadium in Division 1, Newport Harbor (17-5-4) will face Eastvale Roosevelt (19-4-6) at 3:30 p.m.
